Foundation Established

Founded under Lam Shun Pawnshop by master jeweler.

1980

New Beginning

Became New Lam Shun Pawnshop.

1985

Growing the Team

Operations expanded beyond family, hiring staff.

Sun Gate Is Born

Sun Gate Pawnshop established (Mercado Ext. branch).

1989

Incorporated

Became a corporation.

1990

First Computerized

First computerized pawnshop in Zamboanga City.

Family Expansion

One pawnshop for each of the four children.

One Sun Gate

Consolidated all four pawnshops under SGPI.
